Since its founding in 1969, Pine Street Inn has been a place of hope to homeless individuals living in Boston. Today, in addition to our housing program, emergency shelter remains one of Pine Street’s core areas of focus. Our Emergency Services cover needs that people face before they become permanently housed.
Since 1986, our Outreach teams have never missed a day or night supporting homeless men and women on the street.
Our Triage team immediately assesses the needs of a guest as soon as they arrive, with the goal of making their shelter stay as short as possible.
Pine Street operates four shelters for homeless men and women in Boston, totaling 670 beds.
