Pine Street Inn relies on donations to provide supplies for clients in many of our programs, including housing with support, emergency shelter, and street outreach. Your donation allows us to support individuals by providing the items they need most.

Items We Accept

Pine Street Inn provides a Welcome Home Basket filled with new household items for all our tenants moving into supportive housing. For a complete list of items we need, please view our Welcome Home Basket flyer.

Pine Street Inn accepts donations of shelf-stable items and snacks for our tenants in housing and shelter guests. For a complete list of items we need, please view our Pantry Package flyer.

Pine Street Inn is unable to accept prepared foods, including homemade meals, excess catering, or food for immediate consumption. We are unable to accept any items containing tree nuts, peanuts, or peanut butter, nor do we accept bread or any items requiring refrigeration.

Pine Street Inn accepts donations of new adult clothing and shoes.

Pine Street Inn accepts donations of new travel and full size toiletries.

St. Francis House accepts donations of used regular and professional clothing.

Welcome Home Mass accepts donations of gently used household items.

Furnishing Hope provides furniture to families moving out of homelessness.

Cradles to Crayons accepts donations of children’s clothing and other items.


If you would like to donate any of the accepted items or have questions about donating goods, please contact us at volunteer@pinestreetinn.org or 617.892.9184, and a team member will help you arrange a drop-off.
