Pine Street’s four shelters, totaling more than 500 beds, provide guests with a safe place to lay their head at night as well as nutritious meals, laundry services and showers. We also offer access to health clinics through a partnership with Boston Health Care for the Homeless.
Men’s Inn
Located at 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End, the shelter is open 24/7/365 days a year and provides emergency shelter services to more than 330 guests each night. Guest services specialists create a welcoming atmosphere of respect while providing connections to critical services that help reduce lengths of homelessness and support each individual pathway to permanent housing.
Yawkey House
Located at 363 Albany Street in the South End, Yawkey House is open 24/7/365 and provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for more than 115 guests each night. Staff members work with guests to create a pathway to permanent supportive housing, providing connections to critical services that help reduce the lengths of homelessness and support each individual in their housing goal.
Shattuck Shelter
Shattuck Shelter, located in Jamaica Plain, is open 24/7/365 and offers emergency shelter for 30 guests in support of the City of Boston’s efforts to provide shelter, recovery services and a housing pathway for individuals who had been unsheltered in the Mass and Cass area.
Holy Family Shelter
Located in Dorchester, Holy Family Inn provides a sober shelter environment for 60 guests each night. Guests are referred from other Pine Street Inn emergency shelters and programs and must be actively engaged in seeking housing.
