Emergency Shelter
Pine Street’s four shelters, totaling more than 585 beds, provide guests with a safe place to rest, nutritious meals, guest laundry services (at some locations), showers, toiletries, emergency clothing and connections to a variety of supportive services. We also offer access to health clinics through a partnership with Boston Health Care for the Homeless. Throughout Pine Street’s four shelter locations, guest services specialists create a welcoming atmosphere of respect while providing connections to critical services that help reduce lengths of homelessness and support each individual pathway to housing.
Men’s Inn
Located at 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End, the shelter is open 24/7/365 days a year and provides emergency shelter services to more than 330 guests each night.
Yawkey House
Located at 363 Albany Street in the South End, Yawkey House is open 24/7/365 and provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for more than 115 guests each night.
Shattuck Shelter
Shattuck Shelter, located in Jamaica Plain, is open 24/7/365 and offers emergency shelter for 60 guests each night.
Holy Family Shelter
Holy Family Inn, located in Dorchester, provides a sober shelter environment for 60 guests each night. Guests are referred to Holy Family from other Pine Street Inn emergency shelters and programs.
