Emergency Shelter

Pine Street's four shelters, totaling 670 beds, provide guests with a safe place to lay their head at night as well as nutritious meals, laundry services and showers. We also offer access to health clinics through a partnership with Boston Health Care for the Homeless.

Men’s Inn

Located at 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End, the Men’s Inn provides emergency shelter services to 365 men each night. From the Men’s Inn, many guests move on to one of Pine Street’s transitional programs.

Women’s Inn

Around the corner from the Men’s Inn, located at 363 Albany Street, the Women’s Inn provides a safe place to sleep for 120 women each night. Counselors create a welcoming atmosphere of respect while providing critical services that help guests reclaim their lives.

Shattuck Shelter

Opened in 1983, the Shattuck Shelter at 170 Morton Street in Jamaica Plain offers overnight emergency shelter and support for 120 homeless men each night. Shattuck Shelter also provides assistance for guests who are struggling with addiction, legal, financial, mental health and physical issues.

Holy Family Shelter

This is a referral-only sober living shelter that operates 65 beds every night. Guests are referred from Pine Street’s Men’s Inn and Shattuck Shelter. All guests must be actively seeking housing.
