Everybody Has a Story

Pine Street Inn’s story begins in 1969 on Pine Street in Boston’s Chinatown, offering approximately 200 men suffering from alcoholism a safe alternative to the streets of Boston.
The organization has evolved and transformed over the years. Today, Pine Street Inn works with over 1,600 men and women daily, providing a comprehensive range of programs and services, including housing, shelter, outreach, and job training and placement.
Every person here — our guests, tenants, staff, donors and volunteers — has a story of how Pine Street Inn has touched their lives. We hope you enjoy reading a few of these stories in our 2014 Annual Report.
