Women’s Inn renamed “Yawkey House”

In 1988, Jean Yawkey began supporting Pine Street’s women’s shelter, and in 2021, the Yawkey Foundation made a commitment of $15 million, the largest in the organization’s history. These funds will enable Pine Street to open 400-500 new units of housing.

On January 24, 2024, in recognition of the Yawkey Foundation's deep commitment to Pine Street Inn, we have dedicated our women’s shelter as “Yawkey House.”
