Pine Street Inn offers volunteer opportunities designed for corporate groups, faith-based groups, clubs, alumni organizations, schools and more. We will work with you to customize an opportunity for your group.
You don’t have to volunteer on site to make a difference! Challenge your office or group to collect critical items like toiletries or gift cards that are needed to support our guests and tenants. Host drives to create Welcome Home Baskets or toiletry kits.
This morning opportunity is ideal for a team of 6-10 volunteers. Your group will work alongside our staff and trainees assisting with food preparation and kitchen support. We will also include a tour of our shelter where your group will have the opportunity to learn more about our mission and the issues surrounding homelessness in Boston.
Pine Street Inn prepares 17,500 meals each week, 52 weeks a year. We rely on partners to underwrite and support the meals we serve to our guests; this makes a great impact on our overall food budget. Promotional assets and volunteer opportunities vary depending on level of sponsorship. Ideal for groups of 3-20 volunteers. Learn more.
This is a special service opportunity for corporate partners with larger teams of 30-70 volunteers. Groups work alongside our kitchen staff and trainees, chopping large quantities of vegetables and produce to be used in meal preparation for our guests.
