The
Working Programs provide housing for men and women who are working on
a regular basis and saving their earnings to eventually move to private
housing. The program offers flexible hours and separate kitchen, bathroom
and laundry facilities. Employment assistance and support groups are
also offered on site. Those accepted in the program agree to stay clean
and sober, open a bank account to save for an apartment or room, and
meet with a primary counselor once a week to review their progress. The
men and women are employed in security, warehouse work, cab driving,
housekeeping, home health and computer/data entry positions.
