More than 500 people recently joined Pine Street Inn and lead sponsor Wal-Mart at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel for Home Remedy: A Breakfast to Benefit Pine Street Inn.
Sponsors and individual donors generously contributed more than $435,000, setting a new record. Event Chair Laura Sen led planning for the event along with the Council for Pine Street Inn. The featured speaker was David Gergen, commentator, editor, teacher, public servant, best-selling author, and adviser to presidents for 30 years. Gregory Maguire, author of the best-selling book Wicked, served as Honorary Chair.
